POSITION TITLE: District Receptionist
REPORTS TO: Director of Business Services
Position Summary:
The job of District Receptionist is to provide support to the District Office; communicating information to staff and the public; providing information and/or direction as may be requested.

Essential Functions
Greets individuals entering the building for the purpose of responding to inquiries; and/or directing individuals to appropriate locations.
Provides access control to the District Office during business hours.
Inputs data into various software systems for the purpose of ensuring accuracy of data.
Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit pertaining to District 219.
Updates records for the purpose of documenting activities and/or conveying information.
Pick up hospitality for Board/Administrative meetings
Ensures the copiers, kitchen and business office supplies are fully stocked each morning.
Performs varies projects as instructed by business administrations
Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
SKILLS are required to perform multiple tasks with a potential need to upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions. Specific skill-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: operating standard office equipment including pertinent software applications.
Responsibility
Responsibilities include: working under limited supervision using standardized practices and/or methods. There is a continual opportunity to impact the organization's services.
Working Environment
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing. The job is performed under conditions with some exposure to risk of injury and/or illness.
Experience
Job related experience is required.
Education
Targeted, job related education with study in job-related area.
Equivalency
Equivalent experience in job related field.
