Who we're looking for

The Toyota Safety Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Safety Analyst for our North American Parts Center, NAPCK.

The primary responsibility of this role is to support 2nd shift (approximately 4:30PM-1:15AM) facility safety and environmental needs at the NAPCK through the administration of, and commitment to a comprehensive safety and environmental system and program.

The person in this role will support Toyota's Safety and Environmental departments' objective to promote and lead the implementation and sustainment of the Safety and Environmental program at the BNPDC.

This position is based in Hebron, KY. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within a commutable distance of this location. This position is based in Hebron, KY with in-office work.

What you'll be doing

Safety

Identify, anticipate, and act upon safety and environmental concerns, hazards, exposures, and unsafe practicesEliminate or minimize actual or potential hazardous situationsGuide and promote safe work performanceCoordinate site activities that support a safe and healthy workplacePrepare and complete health and safety reportsParticipate and support the Regional Safety and Environmental Management Systems
Environmental

Prepare and complete various environmental activities.
Administrative

Support the development of a safety budgetComply with federal, state, and local safety regulationsPrepare for and participates in facility audit inspectionsAvailable for up to 5% overtime, no holidays (a few evenings and weekends)
What you bring

Bachelor's degree or higher in Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics or Environmental; OR 3+ years of relevant professional work experience in a Safety role within an Industrial, Logistics or Manufacturing environmentProficiency with Microsoft ExcelProficiency with Microsoft PowerPointSafety and Environmental Hazard Risk Assessment experience including applying assessments to production and/or working floor situations and utilizing data analysis to address and solve safety hazardsExperience auditing safety and environmental management systems, including regulatory policy compliance with regards to Environmental, Health and SafetyExperience conducting Safety and Environmental training such as OSHA forklift, warehouse storage, dock and yard safety or similar Safety Training
Added bonus if you have

Demonstrated background within environmental training/educationSafety related certifications such as ASP, CSP or similarToyota experience, working directly for Toyota as a Team Member or ContractorFRAMP MILES experience associated with person/machine interaction and risk reductionErgo Vision experience associated with ergonomic burden relief and countermeasuresIntelex or Serenity software
