Out of about 4,500 hospitals in the United States, all four Lee Health acute care hospitals have been named as recipients of Healthgrades 'America's 100 Best Hospitals' award for 2023.
The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) announced that Lee Health has earned 2021 CHIME Digital Health Most Wired recognition as a certified level 8.
The Leapfrog Group released its Spring 2023 Hospital Safety Grades and all four Lee Health hospitals have earned top marks, continuing their straight A streak from last Fall s grading report. HealthPark Medical Center, Cape Coral Hospital, Gulf Coast Medical Center and Lee Memorial Hospital all received the highest honor of an A grade. This marks the 10th straight reporting period that all Lee Health Hospitals have received a grade of B or higher.
Lee Health is Seeking a Medical Director of Behavioral Health:
Position Information:
Fulltime, Board-Certified Psychiatrist needed for a unique opportunity to provide a mix of inpatient, outpatient and leadership services. The physician will maintain 40% of their time in clinical outpatient practice, while 60% of the position is dedicated to administrative, leadership and inpatient consult liaison responsibilities.
Advanced certification in Geriatrics, Child/Adolescent, or Addiction is a plus but not required.
An ideal candidate has dynamic leadership experience, provides new ideas and energy, interest in strategy and growth potential and enjoys collaborating with others in the pursuit of exceptional patient care.
