Experience:  2-5 years of law firm or in-house experience

Location:  Bend, Oregon

Responsibilities Include:
Role Overview: Provide a wide range of legal services and advice to the company. Will report to the Deputy General Counsel and work with employees at all levels. Will assist the legal team in managing company affairs within HR, marketing, and commercial teams. The main areas of support include:

  • Labor & Employment Law
  • Transactional law
  • Litigation Management

Educational/Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s and Juris Doctorate degrees required
  • A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school and active state bar license in good standing, of at least one US State Bar and willingness to commit to membership in the Oregon State Bar
  • 2-5 years experience in practicing law
General Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Experience in an environment with expectations for deliverable quality and timeliness
  • Mature problem-solving skills with the ability to collect and use data to drive decisions
  • Strong presentation skills. Ability to synthesize and present information
  • Ability to present and discuss legal concepts to legal and non-legal employees
  • Growth mindset - ability to adapt to new learning and training
  • Experience with employment-related legal matters (e.g., protected leave, wage & hour) is a plus
