We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician with a specialization in eating disorders to join our team. As an Eating Disorder Specialist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with eating disorders. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to providing comprehensive and personalized care to help patients on their path to recovery.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with eating disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, integrating both medical and psychological approaches to address their unique needs.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including therapists, nutritionists, meal coach and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Monitor and manage the nutritional status of patients, offering guidance and support in developing healthy eating habits and addressing malnutrition or nutrient deficiencies.
  • Educate patients and their families about the implications of eating disorders, helping them understand the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to treatment.
  • Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in the field of eating disorders, integrating evidence-based practices into patient care.

    Requirements:

    • Medical degree and valid license to practice as a physician.
    • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Medicine and Pediatrics, or Family Medicine.
    • Subspecialty training or experience in treating eating disorders is required.
    • Strong knowledge of eating disorders.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
    • Compassion, empathy, and a patient-centered approach to care.
