This paid internship is a full-time position working within several departments at Pace Industries. To insure a well-rounded experience, time will be divided between the Tool Room, the Process Department, the CNC Machining Department, and the Maintenance Department. Manufacturing Engineer Interns will develop an in-depth understanding of the die casting industry, as well as gain valuable on the job experience that will lead to confidence when continuing their career in manufacturing.

Duties and Responsibilities

This job includes but is not limited to the following:

*Supporting production needs

*2D and 3D Design

*Updating designs and documentation

*Standardizing Workflow and cell configuration

*Defect and root cause analysis

*Dedicated to Pace's 24/7 safety policy.

*Wear required personal protective equipment.

*Keep work area clean and orderly.

*Self-starter that takes the initiative.

*Complete all assigned tasks given by their supervisor.

*Show up on time and ready to work through the entire course of the internship.

Position Requirements

*Currently pursuing a degree or technical diploma in a technical discipline.

*Willingness to explore difficult tasks.

*Strong written and verbal communication skills.

*Work well in a team oriented atmosphere.

*Ability to read blueprints/schematics and follow written/verbal instructions.

*Proficient in mathematics.

*Proficient in various forms of measurement.

*Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
