Overview

Imperial Dade, a leading North American distributor, has a Class A Delivery Driver role available in MIami, FL Join a strong and continuously evolving transportation group, helping to continue to grow our business. The Class A Delivery Driver will be responsible for a route of X daily stops. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly and delivering the merchandise to to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering and providing exceptional customer service.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 6 am - finish.

Responsibilities

You will:

- Safely operate a 53’ truck or smaller
- Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
- Properly track and document activity log
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Inspect the truck before and after trips
- Communicate with customers with a positive, outgoing attitude

Qualifications

You have:

- A valid commercial driver’s license
- Must have a valid DOT medical card or be able to pass a DOT medical exam
- A good driving record
- 1 year of recent CDL A experience
- 1 year of route delivery experience
- 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
- Ability to handle a physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted_
- Lift gate experience
- Strong work ethic
