Accountable for Maintenance Department safety, quality, production and delivery maintenance objectives for the Plant. Provide the proactive leadership necessary to achieve and maintain a continuous improvement mind set for the Maintenance Team. Communicate and prioritize daily work assignments to the Maintenance Team.  Participate in root cause analysis and team problem solving activities (ex. 8D reports, department meetings, etc.) Responsible for ensuring the entire Maintenance Team has the necessary tools and materials to properly perform their roles safely and efficiently.  Partner with shift Production Supervisor and Controls Engineer in resolving production challenges. This role reports to the Maintenance Mgr and work hours are from 7p-4a.

SUCCESS FACTORS:

Associates Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or Industrial Technology, preferred. 5+ years as a Maintenance Supervisor experience, automotive manufacturing preferred. Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills. Leadership capability to teach, mentor and coach Maintenance Team in effective problem-solving methods. Proven leadership ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in applying lean manufacturing concepts. Ability to work well with others in a multi-disciplinary team environment. Proficient in Microsoft, Preventive Maintenance and ERP software systems.
