Medical Director of Palliative Medicine

This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on patient outcomes and lead the transformation of our Palliative Care services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic clinical leadership and oversee the direction of the Palliative Medicine program Rebuild and enhance the existing palliative care program through the development and implementation of updated policies and best practices Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care Mentor and guide palliative medicine team members to ensure excellence in service delivery Drive quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction
Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution Board certification in Palliative Medicine Active medical license in the state of Virginia Proven track record of leadership in rebuilding and advancing Palliative Care programs Exceptional communication skills and the ability to foster strong interpersonal relationships Deep commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care If you are a Palliative Medicine physician with experience in rebuilding and reimagining healthcare programs, we invite you to join our team at VHC Health.
