Production Superintendent

Gowan Milling is seeking a Production Superintendent to work under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager in our Blytheville, AR facility.Duties and Responsibilities:Assist with the coordination of production and packaging operations.Assist with scheduling production and packaging operation line timeDirect supervision of Shift Foremen and Unit Supervisors.In conjunction with Human Resource Department, ensuring employee development and growth within job tier program.Specify and request the purchase of production area equipment.Verify and approve production area quality documents. A number of other jobs other than what is described in this basic classification.Qualifications:Possess strong verbal and written communications skillsPossess strong interpersonal skillsComputer literacyPossess strong working knowledge of plant process and packaging equipment and capabilitiesPossess strong working knowledge of all company policyWork Environment/Physical Requirements:Occasionally required to descend/ascend stairs.Requires frequent walking of the plant area.May require bending, reaching, squatting, pulling, and pushing.
