COMPENSATION:
Hourly Pay Range: $16.10 - $16.30. This position is covered under the UFCW union agreement

JOB SUMMARY:

To assist clerks and customers with bagging items purchased, collect shopping carts, and maintain general cleanliness of the store.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

-Bag the customers purchases
-Assist customers to their vehicles with their purchases
-Retrieve shopping carts from the parking lots and surrounding areas
-Maintain cleanliness of the checkstand area
-Maintain cleaning and bagging supplies in the checkstand area
-Return non-purchased items to their proper shelf location
-Assist customers with their questions
-Secure price verification for clerks
-Maintain routine sweeping of the sales floor
-Break down and collect cardboard boxes
-Handle clean-ups as required throughout the store
-Other related duties as required

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

-Must be at least 16 years of age
-A valid work permit if under the age of 18
-Ability to read aisle makers, shelf tags and prices, and labels
-Must possess efficient hand-eye coordination and be able to perform basic math calculations
-Must maintain a sense of integrity
