You will perform the full range of procedural work of the office.
You will maintain subject matter files and records that relate to the work of the department.
You will set up and maintain logs showing the status of actions correspondence.
You will maintain the N3 ACOS’s Microsoft calendar and schedules appointments, alleviating any conflicts.
You will receive visitors and telephone calls to the department, determines the nature of the requests and directs callers to the ACOS or appropriate department personnel.
You will reschedule appointments upon request of the supervisor or their staff.
You will respond to routine and non-technical requests for information such as status reports, suspense dates for matter requiring compliance, and similar information readily available from files.
You will coordinate travel arrangements and conferences to include arranging schedule of visits, making reservations, and performs Departmental Travel Administrator (DTA) functions on travel for departmental personnel.
You will organize the flow of the clerical processes in the office, designs and organizes filing systems.
You will prepare and/or edit written correspondence, ensuring proper use of English grammar, spelling and capitalization, punctuation, format and clerical procedures.
You will requisition office supplies, equipment and publications.
You will be required to use a full range of word processing, spreadsheets and database software functions, to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, and Teams.
