The Local (formerly Backyard Bistro)  is looking for an enthusiastic bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience for 30+seat bar plus tables. Must have experience with high volume full service bar service.Responsibilities
  • Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
  • Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
  • Assess customersâ needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
  • Plan and present bar menu
  • Check customersâ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Starting pay is $2.15/hr plus tips

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have proven working experience as a bartender
  • Minimum 2 years full-service bartending experience preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
  • Computer literacy: Toast POS system knowledge a plus
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
  • Must be able to work morning/nights and weekends
  • Must pass criminal background check
