As our Jr. Copywriter, you will…

Work with art partners (Junior Designer through Creative Directors) to formulate concepts and execute copy for a variety of visual communications, both digital. 

Be Accountable and Responsible

  • Develop concepts and collaborate with members of the art team to produce content and strategy for various clients
  • Comfortable with creating both long- and short-form copy
  • Keen attention to detail and timely follow-through
  • Deliver presentations to team and/or mid-level to senior creative personnel
  • Understands brand goals, positioning, and market and have general knowledge of competitors
  • Ability to navigate tight timelines while managing multiple projects
  • Remains current on industry trends
  • Exposure to internal teleconference presentations
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write reports and correspondence
  • Holds self-accountable for creating the highest quality of work for our financial/lifestyle client
  • Demonstrates a passion for our clients’ business and creative products
  • Consistently delivers on time to meet internal and external deadlines
  • Knowledge of loyalty programs or financial services is a plus, but not a requirement

These are the qualifications we’re looking for

  • 1-2 years of copywriter experience within an advertising agency or marketing services firm
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English or a related field preferred 
  • Experience with healthcare, financial services or consumer experience preferred
  • A portfolio of work that makes us think, “This person gets it”
  • An ability to come up with great ideas no matter the client or medium
  • Experience executing traditional, digital, and social creative elements and the ability to write copy across a range of voices and styles
  • Keen attention to detail and need for perfection
