POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Associate, Global Social Media and Content supports and executes the global social media strategy across multiple platforms. This individual is responsible for being an expert on social trends & metrics, content creation for social platforms and will be part of the Global Marketing team, shaping the future of Origins globally. Our goal is to approach social media in a way that only Origins can-willing to change the game in skincare, redefining our approach to content, making our consumers the priority, and ultimately best represent Origins in the social space among our consumers (current and new). The Associate will be responsible for growing brand awareness, fostering community growth, and ultimately driving positive consumer perception within consumers minds and cosmetics industry - Obsessed with building epic campaigns, honing in brand marketing and identity, building strong organic social strategy and partner very closely with Global Communications team on all facets of influencer marketing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Support the continued evolution of the brand's social media strategy by executing with the Senior Manager, Global Social Media in updating social strategy guidelines.

· Working with the Senior Manager, Global Social Media in designing social media campaigns supporting product launches based on key business objectives.

· Help draft monthly content briefs based on learned insights for creative to execute.

· Ownership of the Global/North America content calendars, responsible for strategic content planning in collaboration with Senior Manager of Socia

· Assist Senior Social Manager in the development of content for seasonal/calendar moments, trends, and supplemental evergreen content on global Instagram and TikTok accounts

· Collaborate with creative operations and in-house content creator to execute the development of social assets

· Own communication with key cross-functional partnerships on timelines, feedback, and deliverables.

· Actively monitor and source UGC both manually and work with brand UGC management tool in tagging and categorizing for multi-platform use across markets.

· Lead community management and monitoring efforts of the North America owned brand pages including liking, commenting, and responding to DM's.

· Working with social insights tools to keep a close eye on content, constantly aware of what is performing (or what is not) and continuing to optimize.

· Partnering with North America and Online marketing teams to support local promotions and .com needs.

· Work collaboratively with Senior Social Manager to support Communications team on earned media and influencer partnerships and outreach.

· Responsible for management and organization of assets released from Global Creative and all social assets.

· Point of contact for Global markets regarding all community management inquiries.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: (Academic, Professional, Relevant Job Knowledge)

· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.

· Position requires 1-3 years of social media / community management experience, ideally in a corporate environment, luxury, or beauty a plus.

· In-depth understanding of social media platforms (specifically Tik Tok and Instagram)

· Experience creating and editing content within Instagram, TikTok and editing platforms

· Experience with photoshop and/or Adobe tools.

· Should be a self-starter and have a keen ability to work on multiple projects with cross-functional partners and teams.

· Demonstrate ability for synthesizing results and turning insights to action.

· Must possess pro-active critical thinking skills and the ability to take initiative, anticipate next steps and offer recommendations and solutions.

· Must be consumer-obsessed, eager to engage with our audience on a daily basis with a fundamental interest in community and trends.

· Must be organized and highly detail-oriented, double-checking work with unprompted follow-through.

· Must be professional team-player, flexible, positive, engaged, responsible, creative and willing to continually learn with the potential and desire to assume increased responsibility.

· Must have strong and concise verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

· Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

· Should demonstrate a passion for the beauty business.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $60,500 to $90,500. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
