**Job Title: Surgical Advanced Practice Provider (APP)**

**Job Summary:** Trusted Locum Staffing is seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our esteemed surgical team in Syracuse, New York. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality surgical care, working closely with our surgeons, healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Conduct pre-operative assessments and patient evaluations
- Assist in surgical procedures, including but not limited to, general, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries
- Provide post-operative care and follow-up, including wound care, pain management, and patient education
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans
- Perform minor surgical procedures independently as per the scope of practice
- Participate in surgical rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Document patient care activities accurately and promptly in electronic medical records
- Stay updated with the latest surgical techniques, technologies, and best practices

**Qualifications:**

- Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Valid New York State licensure as an NP or PA
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical care preferred
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
