Join our dynamic team at the Associated Clinic of Psychology (ACP) as a full-time Medical Billing and Collections Specialist at our administrative hub. In this pivotal role, you will handle critical tasks such as conducting insurance verifications for our diverse clinical, community-based, and nursing home services. Your day-to-day will also encompass client interaction, processing authorizations, contributing to daily deposits, orchestrating monthly statement distribution, overseeing collection communications, and performing key business office operations.

We seek someone who excels in customer service and possesses exemplary communication skills to work harmoniously with our management, clinical administrative staff, and valued clients, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism. Your ability to make sound decisions and display initiative, loyalty, and reliability is vital to your success in this role.

Position Location: ACP Corporate Office, 4240 Park Glen Rd, St. Louis Park, MN 55416.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in medical billing or insurance verification
  • Proficiency in ARMHS and CTSS billing (a strong advantage)
  • Competent mathematical and fundamental accounting skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication prowess
  • Experience with computer entry and aptitude for learning new software and workflows
  • Prioritization, data entry, reliability, and a collaborative mindset
  • Effective multitasking and critical thinking capabilities
  • Promotion of a positive, adaptable, team-focused, and client-oriented attitude across departments
  • Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to quality

Preferred Qualification:
  • Experience with Insurance Verification, claims processing, and Practice Management Systems: Credible
