Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using TestStand and Automation Desk to enhance test efficiency and reliability.
- Design write and execute detailed test scripts using scripting languages such as Python Bash or CAPL to identify software problems.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and ensure testability of functions and applications.
- Identify, analyze and document defects questionable functions errors and inconsistencies in software program functions outputs online screens and content.
- Create and maintain documentation for test cases, test procedures and test results for product quality tracking.
- Implement continuous improvement processes for test procedures to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with new testing tools and test strategies to improve test coverage.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior test analysts in the team.
- Ensure compliance with project timelines and deliverables maintaining high-quality standards.
- Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs schedules or potential testing issues.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with TestStand and Automation Desk is required.
- Strong scripting skills in Python Bash or CAPL are mandatory.
- Experience in test framework development and automation testing is essential.
- Knowledge of Robot Framework and vTestStudio is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills are crucial for success in this role.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to work.
