Duke Eye Center in Durham, North Carolina is accepting applications for a highly qualified, full-time, Fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeon with interest and/or experience in pediatric and adult retinal diseases to join the collegial vitreoretinal surgery and disease faculty in the Department of Ophthalmology at Duke School of Medicine.

Candidates must have successfully completed an ACGME accredited ophthalmology residency training program and be certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology or board eligible. Applicants must have completed a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery and disease. Post-fellowship work experience is highly valued.

This position requires excellent clinical and surgical skills, dedication to academic pediatric retina, and commitment to teamwork and professional growth. The faculty member will be expected to engage in teaching of vitreoretinal fellows and ophthalmology residents as well as research activities. Faculty rank will be determined by experience and credentials.
