The primary responsibility of this role is to provide Software Engineering support on the cyber data analytics platform. You will work on complex products and initiatives that require in-depth knowledge within the software engineering domain supporting cloud native-based big data analytics technologies.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, the person in this role will support the Cyber Protection department's objective to deploy security solutions for applications supporting the enterprise and connected vehicle environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Active contributor to code development in projects and servicesManage and scale data pipelines from internal and external data sources to support new product launches and drive data quality across data productsBuild and own the automation and monitoring frameworksResponsible for implementing best practices around systems integration, security, performance, and data managementEmpower security operations by helping scale the cyber analytics platform and increased the adoption of data and data scienceCollaborate within cybersecurity to drive solutions and POC discussions.Develop and optimize procedures to move data science models to ProductionDefine and manage SLAs for data products and processes running in productionSupport large-scale experimentation done by data scientistsPrototype new approaches and build solutions at scale
What You Bring

Bachelor's degree or higher, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experienceExperience architecting Infrastructure as a Service capability leveraging virtual machines and virtual machine scale setsDesign/implementation experience in Data Analytics, and Machine Learning or Deep Learning SolutionsAdvanced knowledge of data security concepts, best practices, and proceduresAdvanced knowledge of security architectural designs, requirements development, and solutions definitionWorking knowledge of architecture and design of solutions using cloud-based technologiesProgramming expertise: Python, SQL, Serverless cloud programming (functions, lambdas, etc.)Preferred cloud experience: AWS, GCP, AzureExperience with Linux, and Red Hat Enterprise LinuxExperience with automation technologies like Ansible and TerraformDesign/implementation experience in Data Analytics, and Machine Learning or Deep Learning SolutionsExtensive project experience migrating from legacy systems and deploying complex cloud-based solutionsProject experience architecting, implementing, and optimizing core infrastructure, networking and cloud-based services for business teams or consumers
