Job Description
We are currently seeking a full-time board certified/board eligible Emergency Medicine physician for our Lihue location at Wilcox Health. We are looking for a team player with strong attention to detail and a commitment to creating a healthier Hawai‘i.
The Hawai‘i Pacific Health Medical Group is comprised of over 800 employed physicians and advanced practice providers. Together with our four medical centers (Kapi‘olani, Pali Momi, Straub, and Wilcox) and more than 50 convenient clinic locations statewide, our nonprofit health system is one of the state’s largest health care providers. Our network of physicians and specialists work together to provide a distinctive and effective model of coordinated care for maintaining the health and wellness of our patients.
Wilcox Health combines the intimacy of a neighborhood clinic with the resources of Hawai‘i’s largest multi-specialty medical group. The clinic currently has 88 physicians and more than 20 medical specialties. It provides the majority of primary and secondary care to Kaua‘i’s residents, serving as the most comprehensive medical practice on the island. Combined with the resources and financial strength of Hawai‘i Pacific Health, a multi-hospital and medical group system, we offer the benefits of working within a group practice. The main clinic is located on our affiliated Wilcox Medical Center campus, a modern 71-bed community hospital, and there are also three primary care satellite clinics in other locations around the island.
