Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases

Contract: No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting
Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:
Diagnose and treat medical and surgical disorders using the most appropriate techniques in providing quality care.
Responsible for initial evaluation and overall workup, history and physicals, and admission of ear, nose, throat (ENT) patients as needed. Clinical duties include but are not limited to Operating Room (experience in wide variety of standard otolaryngology surgical procedures and operations), in-patient rounds, Emergency Room and Outpatient Clinics.
Perform both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
Participate in otolaryngology night call and perform emergency ENT surgical procedures.
Responsible for providing patients with education concerning their disease state and treatment regimen.
Assess Veterans' risks and benefits associated with surgical procedures and provide appropriate informed consent, so Veterans fully understand the important risks and benefits of surgical intervention.
Reports administratively and clinically to the Chief of ENT. In addition, this individual may report to the Chief of Surgery for the program(s) to which he/she is assigned.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
(Note: Work schedules are determined and approved by the supervisor. The incumbent may be required to work various shifts on a permanent or temporary basis based on facility/patient care needs).
