The Department of Psychiatry at Northwell Health is seeking a BC/BE Psychiatrist to join the Pediatric Psychiatric Emergency Service at Cohen Children s Medical Center in New Hyde Park, NY. We are seeking applicants with outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills who have a passion for collaboration and innovation.
This is a truly unique opportunity to work for the region s largest Pediatric Emergency Psychiatry Service which includes the Behavioral Health Emergency Service embedded in the Pediatric Emergency Department and the Pediatric Behavioral Health Urgent Care a hospital based ambulatory crisis service that provides walk in assessments and short-term crisis care. Large multidisciplinary team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, licensed mental health counselors, nurses, patient engagement specialists and trainees in multiple disciplines. Per-diem positions are available.
