About the Job Based in San Francisco, Applied Technology & Science (A-T-S) is a reputable engineering and environmental consulting firm with over 25 years of experience in the environmental sector. Our expertise includes water resources, watershed resources permitting and management, hydrology, watershed planning, and regulatory compliance. A-T-S is looking for a Wildlife Biologist to join the team (full-time and on-call positions are available). The candidate will provide biological services such as pre-construction biological surveys, site assessments, environmental inspection, and construction monitoring for utility infrastructure projects. The candidate will work on projects in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area, including Marin County, Napa, Contra Costa, Solano, Sonoma, Santa Clara, and San Mateo Counties. The candidate will mainly work in the field or clients' offices with other junior biologists/scientists. Requirements: 3+ years of experience as a Biologist/Environmental Scientist or a related field Bachelor's degree in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, Wildlife Ecology, or a related field Botany experience Knowledge and experience with field data collection, data management procedures, and preparation of technical documents including survey reports Familiarity with State and Federal Endangered Species Act Regulations Willingness and availability to travel and work in the field Construction monitoring experience Experience as an environmental compliance inspector Experience working with utilities (preferred) Prior experience with water/energy utilities (preferred) **Please only apply to this position if you are located in the SF Bay Area.**
