Part-time Service, Full-time Benefits.  

 

In the Army Reserve, you'll have the time and freedom to put your educational benefits to use. If you want to go to college, the Army Reserve will help pay for it. If you've already attended college, the Army Reserve will help pay off your loans.   

      

You could be eligible for:

 

·         Enlistment bonuses totaling up to $20,000

·         Up to $50,000 to repay qualifying student loans

·         Up to $4,500 a year tuition assistance while serving

·         Up to $375 per month for 36 months for full-time students

 

As a part-time Soldier, you — and your family — are entitled to low-cost Army Reserve life, health, and dental insurance. The Army has one of the biggest health care networks in the world, with state-of-the-art technology, world-renowned facilities, and some of the best and brightest staff in the industry.

 

This is a position in the Army Reserves. In order to qualify you must meet the minimum requirements to enlist in the United States Army. 

 

These include, but are not limited to:

 

Age between 17-34 years old

Ability to pass an extensive background check with no significant law charges (waivers are authorized on a case-by-case basis)

Ability to pass an extensive medical exam including full panel drug testing to ensure fitness to enlist in the military and attend basic training

Attaining qualifying test scores on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery Test (ASVAB)

Required qualifications:
  • 17 years or older
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Background check
  • Drug screening
  • Reads English
  • Speaks English
  • At least high school diploma or equivalent or higher
