A Pharmacy Tech in Levels 1 - 5:
Assists the pharmacist in providing optimal pharmaceutical care to the patient. Handles, manages and distributes controlled substances in compliance with regulatory requirements and department policies; and assists with drug diversion surveillance. Assists with maintaining accurate medication inventories and billing of medications. Effectively reads, writes, speaks and understands English. Possess strong telephone and verbal communication skills. Experience with the use of office software computer applications and keyboarding.
Prior experience as a pharmacy technician. Current registration with the Board of Pharmacy where required by state regulation.
National Pharmacy Technician certification within 12 months of hire.
This range covers Levels 1 - 5. Full Time
