Job Description Our client, a global leader in overhead cranes and lifting equipment is seeking a Crane Technician to join their team. As a Crane Technician, you will be part of the Field Maintenance Team supporting clients with leased and purchased equipment maintenance and repair. The ideal candidate will have electrical and mechanical aptitude, outstanding customer service skills and ability to travel locally and work at heights which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Overhead Crane Technician
Pay is determined based on skills, geographic location, internal equity, market/data analysis, number of years of prior relevant experience, degrees and/or certifications, technical assessment score, etc.
Perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at varied customer locations.
Be available "on call" as part of the service office rotation and provide afterhours service on occasion.
Perform on-site electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic troubleshooting.
Consult w/customer regarding all repair and safety related issues, and document findings, deficiencies, repairs performed, etc.
Maintain company vehicle, uniform, tools and equipment.
AA Degree in industrial electrical/mechanical technology, or equivalent vocational training and experience.
Electrical and mechanical aptitude.
At least 1 year experience involving electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
Flexible, positive attitude.
1st shift, full-time hours + paid overtime and paid travel time
