Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Advanced Practice Practitioner in our SE Division. This position may provide coverage for our Littleton, Swedish, Centennial or Aurora clinics.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certification, etc.
A wide salary range is posted for this position and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, and certifications as compared to others doing substantially similar work. While all offers are compliant with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, there is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.

Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients.
* Initiates and documents appropriate interventions; evaluates and records patient/family response and prescribes therapies as indicated.
* Promotes wellness and recommends community resources to meet patient and family needs.
* In-depth knowledge of reimbursement procedures and documentation requirements.
* Completes patient charge capture and medical record documentation in a timely fashion.
* Often serves as a resource for nursing staff by providing information being studied in clinical trials.
* Provides palliative care for the patient and their families as needed.
* As subject matter expert, promotes/provides staff education
* Responsibilities may include rounding at affiliated hospitals and weekend or after-hours calls
* Serves as subject matter expert to the community, providing education and resources as needed
* Likely to supervise the activities of clinical nursing and support staff.
* May serve in practice or network-wide APP leadership role
* May precept APP students
* Nurse Practitioner Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited nursing school and successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program.
This position typically requires a minimum of one year of experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner and 3-5 years in either in-patient or ambulatory oncology setting.
RN state licensure and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state. This position requires at least one year of experience in either a critical care environment, internal medicine, or oncology.
