· Shift Differentials: $2.60 nights, $2.00 weekends, $1.00 Specialty Certs, double-time incentive shifts, plus flexible shifts/self-scheduling

Applicants should have a state of Michigan RN license and possess an associate degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's degree preferred).
Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) is required within 30 days of hire.
· Handle with Care- Advanced (within 90 days)
· Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) (within 1 year)
  Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
· Documents patient care given.
· Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
· Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
· Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
· Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Department/Unit Summary
24-bed unit with the ability to care for ICU and IMCU patient populations (including open heart and neuro surg patients). Level II Trauma center for the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Clinical Educator located on the unit.
