Cheektowaga NY, United States Signature Flight Support Corporation Full time

Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 6:00 pm (flexible with start and end times), rotating weekends on-call
00 per hour
Inspect and maintain ground support equipment used in operations.
Troubleshoot, repair and/or overhaul ground support equipment.
Check and service ground support equipment with fuel, water, oil and hydraulic fluid.
Diagnose problems using test equipment and applicable manuals.
Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements.
Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems.
Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle users.

Prior GSE or heavy equipment experience preferred.
Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is a definite plus.
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, shift worked, responsibilities, seniority, geographical market, merit, output, productivity, prior training or experience, and travel. The tasks are performed inside and outside near stationary and moving aircraft (including spinning propellers and engines).
Read, write and fluently speak and understand the English language.
Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical and other systems and their components
