Danbury Hospital, affiliated with Nuvance Health is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our employed medical group at our Danbury Hospital in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Our CRNAs and Anesthesiologists are employed by Nuvance Health Medical Practice. We will also consider new graduates into our dynamic learning environment. Per Diem opportunities are also available.
Cases include spine, orthopedics, cardiac, and obstetrics. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, established program that includes teaching to residents, medical students and CRNA students. Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are affiliated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine. Our Medical Group includes 900+employed physicians, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.
This beautiful suburban location boasts excellent housing and school systems. As part of the greater NY metropolitan area, the city of Danbury enjoys both proximity to New York City culture and access to a wide array of outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, fishing and boating in state and regional parks and preserves. Home to Western Connecticut State University, Danbury has abundant local historical, cultural, educational, and recreational attractions. Danbury Hospital and our employed Medical Group are now part of Nuvance Health.
