Our state-of-the-art facility in Ponte Vedra, Florida, is designed to offer a comfortable and welcoming environment for both patients and staff. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team.
Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planning.
Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
Apply preventive materials to the teeth (e.g., Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive dental care.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Follow infection control procedures and maintain cleanliness in the operatory.
Licensed Dental Hygienist in the state of Florida.
At least 1 yearvof experience as a Dental Hygienist (new graduates are welcome to apply and we will review).
Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and use of dental instruments.
Knowledge of dental software and digital radiography is a plus.

Current dental hygienist license in Florida and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
~ Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
~ Clinical needs as required by office
Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
