Health Insurance Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist:
Perform CT scan procedures, including positioning patients, adjusting equipment settings, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the examination.
Secure and verify patient information and medical history, explaining the procedure and addressing any patient concerns or questions.
Operate CT scanners and associated equipment, including power injectors and imaging workstations, to capture high-resolution images.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging protocols for optimal diagnostic outcomes.
Ensure accuracy and quality control of CT images, identifying any artifacts or technical issues and taking corrective action as necessary.
Evaluate scan results and determine if additional images are necessary, consulting with radiologists as needed for timely and accurate diagnosis.
Maintain detailed records of each procedure, including patient information, imaging parameters, and any adverse reactions or incidents.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including sterilization and sanitation procedures for equipment and examination rooms.
Stay up to date with the latest technological advancements and industry best practices in CT imaging techniques. Requirements of the CT Technologist:
