As a Sushi Lead Cook, you are a team player and positive role model who ensures the development and education of the culinary team within the Sushi department. In our people-first environment, you’ll lead your team of prep and line cooks by helping them fine-tune their culinary skills, grow their careers, and fuel their passion for food. Your people skills, culinary talents, and eye for detail will be essential as you manage day-to-day sushi operations and assist with bottom line profitability. Focus on company standards regarding merchandising, highlighting quality, freshness and uniqueness of products
Share your knowledge and passion for food while educating customers and employees. Effectively multitask and balance prep work while ensuring guests meals are prepared in a timely manner with the highest standards of quality maintained
Manage employee performance by providing resources, training, feedback, and development opportunities

2 or more years' experience making sushi and other types of Japanese cuisine
~ Highly proficient with cutting and working with whole fish
~ Associate's degree in Culinary Arts
