The Restoration Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of all assigned restoration, reconstruction, and capital improvement projects, including but not limited, to vendor selection, materials procurement, scheduling, budgeting, and quality assistance. Field Management
* Follows scope and notify Project Director of discrepancies.
* Obtains building permits as required and follow all government guidelines for each permit and project.
* Manages subcontractors to verify that they are supplying adequate resources to meet contract requirements.
* Secures project resources in the most cost-effective manner and ensure they are on site at the appropriate time. Ensures project work meets the highest standards of workmanship based on industry standards.
* Directly supervises BluSky personnel on projects as required.
* All other duties or projects as assigned.
 
Office Management
* Executes proper subcontractor agreements per company guidelines.
* Ensures all subcontractors are working under a subcontract agreement.
* Approves or rejects invoices as appropriate, with proper communication with your Project Accountant.
* Develops and updates project schedules.
* Updates and provides schedules to Project Director and Profit Center Leader weekly.
* Responsible for directing, mentoring and training junior level team members.
* Represents BluSky emergency mitigation on-call management rotation.
 
Meets or exceeds billing, revenue, and profit margin goals as defined by BluSky.
* Tracks change orders and all extras on projects via signed change order form and budget updates.
 
3-5 years residential and commercial construction, general contracting and/or restoration experience preferred.
* 3+ years project management experience preferred.
* Must be able to travel in response to both emergency and non-emergency losses across the nation.
* Ability to communicate effectively with clients, internal and external contacts throughout the project management process.
 
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.

TRAVEL:
Occasional travel. (Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected for training or meetings.
