BLS ACLS required.
RN's required to titrate drips.
Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Titratable - diltiazem, nitroglycerin, heparin. Set rate - amiodarone, dobutamine, dopamine, integrilin, lasix
Job Details
~ Tele RN - CP8 position available.
~13-week contract.
~ Self-scheduling available, may request block scheduling. Will need to meet the needs of the unit.
~ Team focused and tight knit team. Very welcoming to the unit. They have great relationships with providers- hospitalists and CTS team.
~ Could be used as a preceptor. Charge if experienced and willing.
~ Extend travelers frequently. Most stay for the year.

Job Requirements
MUST have post op day 1+ CTS and post heart cath experience.
Highly prefer more than one year of experience.
Schedule Information
Self-scheduling available, may request block scheduling. Will need to meet the needs of the unit.
Weekend Requirements: Yes, every other weekend.
Holiday Requirements: Expected to fill in holes.
No Call or a Standby requirement.
Floating Requirements: Yes- Float to med surg. Sometimes to stepdown.
Unit Specific Information
~# of Beds: 20
~ Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:4
~ Common diagnosis/Types of patients: post op CTS, MI, CHF.
~ Experience or 'Must have' skills: MUST have- post op day 1+ CTS and post heart cath experience.
~ RN's required to read their own strips. Monitor techs at a central location off site.
~ Charge Nurse/House Supervisor does not typically take patients.
~ Nurse Aides on this unit/Ratios: Yes 1:10 ratio.
~ RT/Equipment: CPAP, BiPAP. No high flow, trachs, vents
~ Unit/Department: Specific Orientation 1-2 shifts with a preceptor.

Additional Details
Region I: Primary to Virginia Mason Medical Center, but may be required to float throughout Region One: St. Anne Hospital, St. Francis Hospital, Virginia Mason Medical Center.
Will receive a premium float when asked to float.
Royal blue scrubs with white/grey accent.
