Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Specialty: Anesthesiology
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 6 months with 30-day notice
Shift Details:
~8-hour, 10-hour, 12-hour shifts
~ Call frequency varies, as needed

Schedule:
Monday through Friday, with weekends and call rotations
Must be able to work more than one week a month
Work Details:
Support staff: 25 MDs and 50 CRNAs
Coverage needed: 5 days a week, with weekends and call
Patient ratio: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4 depending on stability
Patient population/age: Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric
Department description: Anesthesiology
EMR: Cerner (migrating to Epic in Spring)
Hospital bed size: 309 beds
Required skills: Epidural, spinal, regional (ultrasound-guided)
Practice Setting:
~ Hospital

Requirements:
Board Certification: Yes (Board Eligible considered)
License required: Tennessee or compact state RN license
DEA: Not required
CSR: Not required
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS
Minimum experience: 2 years
Credentialing Timeframe:
~2 weeks
