The Cytopathology Laboratory is best known for diagnosing malignant, pre-malignant lesions, and diseases on the microscopic level from virtually any body site including pulmonary and urinary specimens.  By collaborating with the Molecular Anatomic Pathology Laboratory, we assist in patient care management to achieve precise results. Quality control activities
Training in the training and evaluation of cytotechnology students
Performing digital image analysis, FISH techniques, and/or tissue review
Assisting cytology specialists and management personnel with the gathering of data relevant to quality assurance activities, continuous improvement activities and/or special projects

*Bachelor's degree in Cytotechnology or bachelor's degree with completion of an accredited Cytotechnology program. Experience using databases, spreadsheets, and word processing software
Ability to prioritize work, manage time wisely, and adjust to changes in work volumes and projects

Transcripts (unofficial copy accepted) or NACES detailed international equivalency for foreign degrees.  
Internal candidates must provide their past three performance appraisals. 
**DLMP employees that have been in current lab/position for less than 2 years must attach early release approval from supervisor.

Evaluation MUST be completed from an organization listed as a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) OR the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. (39 per hour; Full Time
Monday - Friday, dayshift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, however, hours may vary.
Weekend Schedule
Rotating Sundays: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.
Will have a scheduled day off during the week when scheduled for a Sunday shift.
