Skilled RN Supervisor

The Virginian, an LCS managed community is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with experience strong leadership skills to work with senior population within, our three skilled nursing units. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising and directing the care provided to our residents in accordance with professional standards of practice. The ideal candidate must be a good communicator, previous healthcare leadership experience, high organizational skills, knowledgeable of Microsoft Office/Point Click Care, and exceptional time management skills. Qualifications: Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Experience/knowledge in LTC/MC/ AL; current clinical knowledge and experience with the senior population. Ability to collaborate and motivate other healthcare providers; strong/effective problem-solving skills. Display enthusiasm, leadership ability and tact. Strong computer skills, proficient with Electronic Health Record. Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an RN Supervisor: * Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), family/social activities and actively promote independent lifestyle of residents. * Responsible for identification of resident medical and behavioral changes and the development and monitoring of care plans and reassessment of each resident. * Provide daily report to the Administrator and or Director of Nursing concerning community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies. * Provide nursing care according to physician's orders and in conformance with recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies. * Ensure preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services to residents and assist in the coordination of nursing care with care rendered by other disciplines. * Assist with supporting Administrative and Operational functions of each skilled unit. * Serve as back up to the Unit Manager when on duty to assist Director of Nursing to ensure proper function of the Healthcare Center department. * Coordinate and address staff concerns, resident concerns, and answer general public questions. Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have: * Current nursing license valid the Virginia State Board of Nursing or Compact License * Willingness to be available for any/all emergencies regarding the community.
