We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Architect to join Asset Management Technology’s Architecture group. Define architecture decisions and design principles to guide technology solutions within the delivery teams and across the organization; ensure compliance with the architecture decisions.
Continually analyze the architecture and current technology environment to then recommend solutions for improvement.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
Hands-on experience with application and/or system integration based on file transfer, shared database, messaging, and APIs.
Solid understanding of distributed systems and their trade-offs with focus on service-based and event-driven architectures.
Strong proficiency in Java & Spring Framework and/or Python development environment; understanding of front-end web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
Experience in designing, developing, and deploying applications on AWS. Practical knowledge of a broad range of AWS services, including compute, containers, databases, analytics, and security.
Ability to provide high-quality visuals and documentation that conveys system architecture to diverse audiences.
Bachelor's or post graduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
