Remote Psychiatrist

The Providence Virtual Care and Digital Health group is seeking a seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist for consultation-liaison work. This is a work-from-home Child/Adolescent Telehealth position hired out of Everett, Washington; however, the Psychiatrist may work remotely within 36 US states. ~ The psychiatrist will use video technology to diagnose and treat patients with behavioral disorders in emergency departments and inpatient medical/surgical units across multiple hospitals in Providence Telehealths coverage footprint
~ Current standard shifts are 12 hours in length; potential opportunities for partial shifts as well
~ The ability to work well with a team is critical to success given that psychiatrists work collaboratively with a team of psychiatrists and clinical social workers on shift
~Experience providing psychiatric consultation-liaison services to medical/surgical inpatients and emergency departments required
~ Board Certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry preferred
~ Telemedicine experience preferred, but not required
~ The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position.
