We care for our community Just last year, HCA Healthcare and our colleagues donated $13.As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), you will plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for assigned patients. You will complete an age-appropriate assessment on each assigned patient and create a specific plan of care upon patient arrival
* You will obtain supplies, equipment, and medication needed for patient care
* You will administer IV therapy
* You will make rounds to check equipment cleanliness and appropriate storage
* 2 years of experience as an Registered Nurse (RN) in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) or Critical Care 

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) -preferred
* Associates Degree of Nursing (ADN)- required 

Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License. David’s Healthcare policy

* Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse (CAPA) certification – preferred
* David’s North Austin Medical Center is a multi-specialty hospital in Texas withmore than 360 beds . The facility is home to St. David’s Children’s Hospital St. David’s Women’s Center of Texas featuring a Level III NICU, a Kidney Transplant Center, and the Texas Institute for Robotic Surgery . Additional servicesoffered at this medical center include 24-hour emergency care, heart and vascular care, neurology andneurosurgery, rehabilitation services, and inpatient and outpatient surgery.
