Working Hours: Monday to Friday (08:30 - 17:30)

We are looking for an Accountant with 2-4 years of public accounting experience who is ready for a step up. This is ideal for someone who is looking to develop and further excel in their career.

You would be joining a large corporation with global presence in Virginia and be a key player in their financial success

Collaborate with the Controller and Financial Director to manage day-to-day accounting operations.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.
Oversee financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
Utilize public accounting experience to enhance financial practices.
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Implement and maintain effective internal controls and financial procedures.
Coordinate and support external audits, providing necessary documentation.
Keep abreast of changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry trends.
Contribute to the development and improvement of accounting processes.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2-4 years of previous experience working in public accounting is essential.
Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
Medical, Dental, Life, and Vision Insurance.
Training support where needed and required.
