Wave Solder Machine Operator

Currently looking for skilled individuals to fill the temporary Wave Solder Machine Operator opening with a company located in Mounds View, MN. Interested candidates should have good manual dexterity, competent computer skills and a willingness to learn.

Wave Solder Machine Operator Job Description:

  • Operate wave solder machine and computer; set appropriate parameters.
  • Perform routine maintenance of machine.
  • Troubleshoot machinery.
  • Responsible for quality control. Adjust as necessary to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications.
  • Uses visual aids, verbal, and written instruction to operate the machine.
  • Maintains records and documentation.
  • Cross-training completed as needed.
  • Adheres to the quality system standards pertaining to the job.
  • Adheres to ESD requirements and safety rules.
  • Produce high quality products to exceed customer expectations.
Wave Solder Machine Operator Job Requirement:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • One to three months related experience and/or training.
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills in English.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
  • Good computer skills (Word, Excel); MRP and Document Control System experience preferred.
  • Familiar with Vitronics and/or ITW Wave Solder Machine Software.
  • Knowledge of Lean Principles.

Compensation for Wave Solder Machine Operator:

The starting salary for the Wave Solder Machine Operator position is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour.
