Airswift has been tasked by one of our major clients to seek a Laboratory Technician to work in Old Ocean, TX for a 12 month assignment (subject to extension).*
*Utilizing various sampling equipment on the job
* Driving to terminals for sample pickup each shift
* Ability to work alone as well as in a team
* Takes responsibility for tasks, quality, and accuracy and is accountable for those responsibilities
* Responsible for the safety/health of self and those working with you, promoting health and safety of others, and performing quality work in a safe and environmentally conscientious manner
* Responsible for complying with Laboratory policies and procedures, company policies and procedures, established standards, and governmental regulations (Federal, State, and Local)
* Overtime work required at times
* TWIC card for terminal access required
* Able to work 8-hour shift schedule (days and nights)
* Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictions
* Willing and able to perform and comply with the following items, with or without accommodation:
* To work overtime
* To work around chemicals, including acids and bases
* To wear fire retardant clothing and personal protective equipment (such as steel-toed shoes, ear and eye protection)
* Job Types: Full-time, Contract
