Advanced Practice Provider Neuro Hospitalist Piedmont Columbus Regional

Piedmont is recruiting for an APP to join our Neuro Hospitalist program at Piedmont Columbus Regioanl . This is a PRN 7-on-7-off position with no call responsibilities. You will work alongside physicians providing care to general neurology and stroke patients in an inpatient setting.

In this role you will:

  • Follow-up with current general neurology and stroke patients.
  • Triage new patients prior to being seen by doctor.
  • Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations and record data in patients medical record.
  • Evaluate and treat patients to achieve optimal patient care.
  • Write progress notes; prepare patient work-ups and summaries noting pertinent positive and negative findings.
  • Develop plans of care that minimize complications and successfully troubleshoot problems when they arise. Apply preventative and alternative treatment strategies for possible procedural complications.

Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications

1-2 years of advanced practice provider experience with a high degree of clinical judgment.

Minimum Qualifications

Masters, Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification
