As Systems Engineer, you will be expected to gain in-depth knowledge of an RF and/or Electrical, and/or signal processing focused subsystem. You will collaborate with other Engineering disciplines to help define requirements, interfaces, subsystem behavior, and how the subsystem will integrate into the overall system and architecture. Our RSEs work both in the office and spend hands-on time with the hardware during design, integration and design verification testing at multiple levels from subsystem design to system level flight testing.
SE technical expert for RF and EE-related verification and validation efforts, ensuring all requirements are being assessed during Design Verification Testing, Format Qualification Testing, and Hardware Qualification
Lead technical discussions, and formulate plans of action by leveraging company Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across multiple engineering disciplines
Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and five (5) years of experience in one or more of the following technical domains, OR an Advanced STEM degree and minimum 3 years of professional experience in the following technical domains:
Systems engineering, architecture, and/or design
System performance and analysis
Electronics (circuit card assemblies, subassemblies, complete systems) requirements, integration, and verification
S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Experience using Agile framework development methods/processes
Experience using Azure DevOps methods/tools
Past work experience in a challenging fast paced environment
Experience with Matlab, C, C#, C++, Python
Ability to perform trade studies to optimize system performance
Understanding of Systems Engineering Product Development Cycle
Experience evaluating and mitigating technical risks
Prior work experience giving technical briefs or presentations
