NEW CHOICES RECOVERY CENTER POSITION DESCRIPTION REINTEGRATION PROGRAM DIRECTOR Position Summary: The Program Director is responsible for the safety and maintenance of the therapeutic environment of the Reintegration residence. The Program Director provides regular supervision to the Clinical Supervisor and Residential staff. It is the responsibility of the Program Director to ensure all documentation complies with agency policies and procedures and regulatory requirements. The Program Director prepares for regulatory and recertification reviews, is responsible for all logistical and financial operations in collaboration with the Director of Reintegration Services. The Program Director maintains the residential census, completes screenings and forwards admission recommendations and pending discharges to the Director of Reintegration Services. Education Requirements: Must be a Qualified Health Professional; CASAC or Master’s degree preferred Experience: The Program Director will have at least five years of work experience in the SUD or MH field and completion of the Clinical Supervision training. Valid NYS driver’s license is required. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Supervision: Supervises all Reintegration Staff within the framework of Agency policies and procedures. Communicates performance expectations with staff, appraises performance through supervision and annual evaluations. In collaboration with the Director of Reintegration Services, ensures policies and procedures are implemented routinely. Client Treatment Planning: Provides and supervises assessment, treatment and care of residents. Ensures that individualized treatment plans are implemented with each resident. Attends and participates in case conference and collaborates with outside providers where needed.
