Requirements: - CA RN license - Travel experience - 1 year IR RN experience - Some peds experience - BLS (AHA) - PALS (AHA) Shift/Hours: 4x10 Days with variable start times (approx. 0) Call Requirements: 2 call shifts per week; up to 4 call shifts per week as needed if census permits. More about the position: - Procedural nursing with 5-10 cases a day pending add-on inpatient cases - Infants to young adults - Medication System: Pyxis and Omnicell - SBAR - EPIC documentation Job Description: Responsible for independently applying the nursing process through the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation & documentation of pediatric patient care within diagnostic imaging and advanced imaging such as advanced Interventional Radiology and/or Interventional Cardiac MRI. Provides care to high acuity patients and assist with complex procedures within the IR suite and at bedside utilizing sterile technique with the interventionalist and/or patients undergoing cardiac stress testing in the MRI with medication, more complex MRI procedures for fetal, lymphangiography procedures and pacemaker studies within MRI.
