For those whose calling it is to serve others, now is your moment to join our mission to provide quality care to every patient with compassion, collaboration, and innovation, to live our mantra to “Always Do The Right Thing”, As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of patient care by gathering information during the clinical process under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RN). You will work closely with all nurses, helping them to perform activities commensurate with your education and demonstrated competencies. Your role is crucial in ensuring that patients receive the best possible care and that medical procedures run smoothly.
Provide clinical care to patients by implementing established policies and procedures and intervening with proper techniques and safety precautions.
Assist healthcare practitioners and respond to patient crises as per the site's policy and procedure.
Adhere to infection control principles, provide emotional and physical comfort to patients, and maintain working areas, supplies, and equipment in good working order.
Attend mandatory staff meetings and training and adhere to the designated work schedule to ensure continuity of patient care and maintain the staffing matrix for the client.
Currently certified as a Medical Assistant in the State if certification is required by the State or the facility.
